Do this each time you add, refresh, or move an archive entry. Keep it boring. Keep it consistent.
1) Open the folder from a desktop browser and confirm the page loads.
2) Press play on the audio recording.
3) Open the transcript link (and make sure it’s the one you meant).
4) Confirm the crest image shows.
5) Confirm the QR destination still resolves to the same place.
If you change the recording filename, transcript filename, crest filename, or the folder name, re-open the page and re-check the audio + transcript links.
When your storage source changes, refresh the backup locations so visitors don’t hit dead links.
This usually comes down to filename mismatches. Treat it like a strict match problem, then re-test from the QR destination.
Visual drift happens fast. If it doesn’t match the established layout, revert the formatting and keep the archive’s timeless look.
Pick an entry you didn’t touch recently. Do the audio + transcript check. If one works, your system is probably behaving.
Use AI like an assistant. Rewrite text or troubleshoot, then read it like a person and make sure it still matches the archive’s structure and naming.
